Very helpful staff, excellect location, good value for money especially for single room.

Breakfasts could be better - fresh rather than tinned jam, better juice and coffee.

The staff were very friendly/helpful and the hotel facilities were great. the location was perfect for seeing many of the main tourist sites in madrid. I felt safe walking almost everywhere.

Room was on a noisy pedestrian street, but no fault of the hotel's.

I recently visited Serville and stayed in Hotel Alminar. Although my stay was brief, I found that the hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. The hotel is very conveniently located, close to the Cathedral and Alcazar, and the room clean, comfortable and cozy. Most importantly, the hotel staff is very helpful, and provides excellent service. I ran short of cash during my stay in Serville and had to go to a local bank to change a 500 Euro bill to smaller bills. Francisco gave me directions to the bank and bank hours. When I mentioned the purpose of my intended bank visit, he kindly offered to change the 500 Euro note to save me a trip to the bank. The staff were incredibly helpful with recommendations for places to eat, events, etc. Breakfasts were very good and reasonable.

As in many Spanish hotels there was insufficient storage space in the rooms.

It was a nice small hotel with a very attentive and knowledgeable staff when needed. For a three star hotel it was excellent and unbelievably central. Views from the top floor (rms 31 and 32) were very nice of the Giralda tower and part of the Cathedral. Ask the staff for advice on where to eat. DOuble checking with other suggestions, these were excellent too. Well done to a small place at 3 stars. I travel for work at least 1x/week and this was above expectations, especially for a busy place like Seville. Do get the breakfast at under Euro 10 since it is notoriously difficult to find breakfast in restaurants/cafes in Spain.

The centraal location was superb. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The facilities for free coffee and tea were very good.

The hotel was clean and served my needs. The morning breakfast was simple but I was happy that it was provided. The staff was friendly and provided good local tips.

Hotel Alminar is a three star hotel right in the centre of Seville - less that 100 metres from the cathedral. The bedroom and bathroom are not palatial but were ideal for our needs as a good base from which to explore a delightful city. I particularly commend the staff, Maria, Francisco and Boni who made us very welcome and provided excellent advice for places to eat, places to visit and attractions to go and see. Our visit to Seville would not have been as rich or as successful without their help.

The position was excellent and our room (number 24) had a view of Seville Catherdral's Giralda. The reception staff were exceptionally helpful. The free tea and coffee was a good touch. The hotel was clean and in the main (see below) was comfortable.

We booked a double room but number 24 was in fact a twin room with the beds pushed together. They were not even 'zip-linked' and were made up as two separate beds (i.e. with single sheets). Not what we were expecting. Another mirror in the bedroom would have been good and because of the flooring we were aware of a guest in the neighbouring room clip-clopping their way around early in the morning and late at night. The chair at the desk area didn't have any pads under the legs so that when one moved it, there was a horrible scraping sound (apologies to those who were unfortunate to be below us!).

The location is perfect, which is close to the catedral and other major sights. The staff are friendly and helpful. The design and facilities of the room are in fact better than those in the pictures!

the staff in particular were realy excellent, polite very helpfull and welcoming.Location was ideal for a short visit to Seville.

I would not recomend the breakfast.
